Kokopelli, the flute player, is believed to be the oldest of the supernatural figures. Similar to Pan from Greek tradition, his flute is a universal symbol which is both masculine and feminine. He represents fertility and untamed energy of Nature. Through his/her magic, the Shaman summons the raw energy of the flute player to bring abundance and fertility to the tribe.
